To the Members of HARMD

I have come to the decision to resign from the board of directors and give up my chapter in Florida. I still believe in HARMD always have and always will but god has called me to other things and its time for me to move on. I will continue still be active member and help who ever needs help. Please feel free to call at any time if you to need talk . I want to think Melissa and the board for giving me a chance to serve on the board.

November 28, 2009 volunteers needed for HARMD’S booth at Christmas Fest 2009

We will pass out information about HARMD and other resources.
We will also be doing activities with children such color pages or paper doll ect.

I had an opportunity to speak to a group of about 50 this week and as I was telling David's story and how harmful Methadone is and was to David I noticed some people nodding their heads in agreement with me. As I got to the part of how death would probably happen to a person overcome from Methadone they were really agreeing. My Mother passed on January 30th 2009. She passed in the late morning and was found in the early evening by her older sister.

I try not to obsess over her last minutes, but it is hard. People say....the person does not know what is happening...that they fall into a deep sleep or coma and the organs break down, then death.
