MEthadone should be Illegal...

I am writing this because im not sure how else to vent... I am angry at methadone for taking my Bobby away from me.. He was the best part of me and also the worst. He took us to the lowest part of a drug addiction anyone could imagine. As I am sitting here thinking back, I knew when it started , But we were both hooked so I did nothing to stop it. Resigning from the Board

I had an opportunity to speak to a group of about 50 this week and as I was telling David's story and how harmful Methadone is and was to David I noticed some people nodding their heads in agreement with me. The agony of never knowing what they felt before the last breath....pain? fear? nothing at all?

My Mother passed on January 30th 2009. She passed in the late morning and was found in the early evening by her older sister. I try not to obsess over her last minutes, but it is hard. People say....the person does not know what is happening...that they fall into a deep sleep or coma and the organs break down, then death. Methadone killed my best friend on 07/08/09.

On July 8th, 2009, My best friend since we were 10 years old, Tyler Ford Commander, died at just age sixteen in an abandoned house on South St. Cloud rd in Valrico/Brandon, FL. He had taken 14-20 methadone during the night, and was found dead the next morning. Sometimes life sucks and then it gets worse!!!

On the 29th of this month, it will be the third year marking of David's death to Methadone. I bought another wind chime to hang...a very large, beautiful sounding chime that will make the place where David's remains remain a more serene and restful place. Hi people... Been out of the loop studying taking and PASSING my child life specialist certification... I still can't figure out how I managed to graduate and get a 98.666 on my test!! So don't start work till end of sept and maybe later if they hafta redo my husbands heart for the 3 rd time in 13 years. This time his valve will be permanent as the dogs took an. Shawnce Browning 03/11/1975-12/31/2005

I'm a member of this site because I lost my brother, Shawnce Browning, to methadone. All of the pictures that I have posted are of him. Since his death, I've been a strong advocate against methadone. HARMD.org has been a lot of help to me and has been a source of comfort. Shawnce was only 30 when he died. He left behind his wife and three sons. Shawnce, like so many others, died in his sleep. Drug Monitoring System Bill that Passed in Florida

When I first herd this bill had passed I was over joyed but when I found out some of its flaws I had to make a stand . I am not saying I am a agonist it I am just saying more changes need to be made . Like the 15 day waiting period before information gets put in the system and the manipulation with fake ids that can be used .
